LGV

LGV is a sexually transmitted disease caused by Chlamydia. It is however quite a rare infection in the UK. Unprotected anal sex and fisting are the most common ways of getting LGV.

Symptoms include: -

  Sores on your penis or vagina, anus on in your mouth

  A burning sensation when urinating

  Glandular swelling around the groin, anus, mouth, and throat or in your arm pits

Antibiotics are used to treat LGV.  As with other STI’s, the best form of protection is to use a male or female condoms and ensure high standards of genital cleanliness.
